About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison. This is a full-time position that will provide customer service and expertise to patients, providers, and team members regarding specialty pharmacy enrollment, prescription processing, benefits inquiries, and prescription status inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, providers, and team members
  • Process prescriptions and manage benefits inquiries
  • Communicate with clinic staff to obtain patient information and determine insurance coverage
  • Work in the pharmacy as needed to support patient care
  • Collaborate with the Director of Specialty Pharmacy to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Recent experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • Tennessee Pharmacy Technician Registration
  • Recent work experience in working with pharmacy preauthorizations/payors
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
