Position Overview:

The Case Cart Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in the efficient management of surgical supplies within the Main Operating Room. This position is essential for ensuring that all necessary case carts are accurately assessed, allocated, and assembled for surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and allocate case carts utilized in the Main OR Suites.
  • Utilize computer-generated allocations, stock on hand, and supply lists to ensure proper inventory management.
  • Maintain and manage Emergency Case Carts to ensure readiness for urgent situations.
  • Retrieve and reallocate items from Central Sterile Processing for ongoing surgical cases.
  • Locate and deliver necessary items for current and future OR cases.
  • Oversee the stocking of Main OR cores during day shifts.
Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential. Candidates should demonstrate organizational abilities, proficiency in telephone and computer skills, and the capacity to follow various forms of instructions.
