Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Learn to Skate Coach to join our team at Independence Community Ice, a 2-sheet ice facility located in Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Promote and represent the facility positively at all times.
- Provide instruction in accordance with Learn to Skate USA Guidelines.
- Assist with set up of ice for learn to skate classes as necessary.
- Communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing.
- Consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Meet Learn to Skate or USFS Coaching Compliance standards.
- Maintain Safe Sport Compliance.
- Knowledge of USA Figure Skating By-Laws and Policies.
- Ability to respond appropriately to customer service issues.
- Minimum of 1 year of on-ice coaching and instructing experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of recreation or facility management experience.
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
Benefits
This role will pay an hourly wage of $20. For part-time roles, benefits include a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.
