Position Overview

Insight Global is actively searching for a Senior Bridge Design Engineer. The primary responsibilities of this role include leading the design initiatives for new bridge projects while ensuring compliance with VDOT standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design process for various bridge projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive QA/QC evaluations of engineering deliverables.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients through meetings and negotiations.
  • Prepare detailed responses to RFPs and represent the organization at public forums.
  • Drive project goals to successful completion.

Qualifications
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in bridge design
  • Experience working within the VDOT framework
  • Demonstrated success as a lead design engineer with design-build expertise
  • Strong ability to engage and negotiate effectively with clients
