About the Role

SpiriTrust Lutheran is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team at The Village at Utz Terrace in Hanover, PA. As a key member of our food services department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dining experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and handle food in accordance with sanitary regulations established by the Pennsylvania Health Department.
  • Estimate quantities of food and time needed for preparation to meet menu requirements.
  • Prepare all food items on the menu in accordance with individual therapeutic diet requirements.
  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner following prep sheets, established recipes, and direction from the Dining Services Supervisor.
  • Serve meals from the steam table line.
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role preferred.
