This CT Technologist position is a 12-week contract with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will work in a hospital setting, utilizing computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images, sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety, and evaluating CT scans to determine their technical quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients by sterilizing radiologic equipment and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Evaluate CT scans to determine their technical quality and make recommendations for improvement
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
- Iowa Fluoroscopy License ARRT
- Completion of JRCERT radiologic technology program
- Iowa Radiologic Technologist License
- 1 year of recent relevant experience
