Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Collington. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and integrity of our buildings through painting and repair work.

• Preventative Maintenance: Perform ongoing maintenance on painting tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
• Painting and Repair: Paint surfaces according to instructions, fill cracks and holes with caulk, and perform drywall repairs as needed.
• Surface Preparation: Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and removing old paint.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety precautions and partner with the facility team to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Communication: Communicate concerns and issues to the facility team in a timely manner.

• Technical Skills: Ability to use painting tools and equipment, including brushes, caulking guns, and sandpaper.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication and teamwork skills to work with the facility team.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
