Anesthesiology Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiology Physician to join our team at the Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthetic care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform preanesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies.
- Develop and administer anesthetic plans, including general, regional, or local anesthesia and intravenous sedation.
- Select and apply appropriate noninvasive and invasive monitoring modalities for collecting and interpreting patient physiological data.
- Manage emergence and recovery from anesthesia, selecting and administering medications, fluids, or ventilatory support as needed.
- Release or discharge patients from the post-anesthesia care area and provide post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
- Order, initiate, or modify pain relief therapy through the utilization of diagnostic and therapeutic modalities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare services to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of patient care.
- Must have completed an accredited residency training in anesthesiology and be proficient in all aspects of modern anesthesiology practice.
- Must have the ability to provide anesthesiology care as a solo provider as well as part of an anesthesia care team.
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English.

Work ScheduleMonday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, subject to change based on the needs of the facility.
