Position Summary:
The Certified Pharmacy Technician II in Retail/Specialty is responsible for executing essential tasks that support pharmacists in delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Receives and processes medication orders, manages phone inquiries, and dispenses prescriptions to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
2. Assists in maintaining inventory levels and organization.
3. Acts as a resource for fellow pharmacy technicians.
4. Provides mentorship and training to new staff members.
5. Leads initiatives for process enhancements and quality improvements within the department.
6. Ensures exceptional customer service is delivered to all patients.
7. Performs additional duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED - CERTIFICATION THROUGH PTCB OR NHA IS MANDATORY
EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: Required: Minimum of 2 years in a pharmacy setting
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Required: Certified Pharmacy Technician
Preferred Qualifications:
CPhT-Adv or CSPT certification, or a certificate in a specialized area.
