Team Overview and Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
  • Maintain accountability within the team by driving performance towards daily goals and upholding rigorous quality and operational standards.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for industrial relations matters and facilitate effective communication between management and associates.
  • Empower and develop team members by fostering a culture of learning and providing opportunities for skill enhancement and decision-making growth.
  • Leverage data analysis tools to track key performance metrics, generate insightful reports, and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Lead daily turnover meetings to ensure seamless information flow and alignment among team members.
  • Conduct regular plant audits to maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Guarantee that all products meet the stringent requirements outlined by the Plant's Quality Management Systems.
  • Adhere to all applicable safety procedures and environmental management system guidelines (ISO14001).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or members of the management team.

Who We Seek:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent – required. Bachelor's Degree – preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of proven management experience in a manufacturing setting – required.
  • Prior experience within the optical fiber cabling industry is highly valued.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, coupled with versatility and a genuine enjoyment of interacting with customers and visitors.
  • Thrive as a motivated team player, actively contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Exhibit strong administrative skills, exceptional time management abilities, and the capacity to effectively multi-task.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism when handling challenging situations.
  • Be flexible and available to work various shifts, including holidays and emergency weekend coverage.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
