POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager in fostering a customer-centric and product-driven sales culture. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance Culture

Evaluates sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement in-store business and sales strategies.

Sets and communicates clear expectations, holding the store team accountable for meeting all brand, performance, and conduct standards.

Manages payroll and supply budgets effectively.

Oversees essential operational tasks such as scheduling, conducting shrink audits, managing physical inventory, and ensuring accuracy in payroll documentation.

Handles all financial activities in compliance with company policies, including cash management, price adjustments, and merchandise handling; ensures accuracy in all register transactions.

Ensures adherence to all relevant laws, loss prevention protocols, and operational procedures; provides training to associates to reinforce proper controls.

Administers all operational processes, including inventory management, daily merchandise replenishment, and preparation for physical inventories.

Maintains visual merchandising standards and overall store organization that reflect the Brand's identity.

Fosters a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to achieve set sales and productivity targets.

Trains and mentors the sales team to ensure comprehensive product knowledge both online and in-store.

Inspires and motivates the store team, cultivating a shared vision while exemplifying core values.

Encourages an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Communicates effectively with store teams and the Store Manager to lead positive transformations.

Customer Experience

Demonstrates, teaches, and promotes the principles of Exceptional Personal Service (EPS), ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.

Models sales expectations by employing various techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in recommending merchandise based on customer preferences.

Ensures timely resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.

Guarantees a swift and efficient checkout experience, staying informed on policies regarding payments, returns, and exchanges.

Ensures the team maintains consistent communication with clients through customer engagement initiatives.

Talent Development

Assists in the recruitment, hiring, and development of a high-performing team.

Supports and follows up on all training programs and seminars.

Evaluates and coaches the store team on performance metrics.

Collaborates with the Store Manager to address human resources matters promptly and effectively.

Promotes team engagement by recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance.

Ensures compliance with all employment practices and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of experience in retail management preferred.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Able to learn and adapt to technology utilized by the company.

Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills with a proven track record in sales and leadership.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Exemplary leadership qualities, training, and team-building skills.

Knowledge of the administrative aspects of store operations.

Able to communicate effectively with customers and staff.

Regular attendance is essential to ensure adequate coverage for company objectives. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant walking/standing throughout the shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Frequent climbing during the shift.
