About the Job

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team in Reno, Nevada.

This is a travel opportunity that offers a unique chance to work with a variety of patients and cases, while also gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography, with experience in cardiac and vascular ultrasound. They will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures, interpreting images, and providing high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

This is a 15-week contract, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The pay package includes a tax-free stipend, and the opportunity to work with a leading healthcare organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including cardiac and vascular ultrasound
  • Interpret images and provide high-quality patient care
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in educational sessions and contribute to the development of new skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Active registry with either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience in diagnostic medical sonography
  • Strong background in cardiac and vascular ultrasound
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
