Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of diet orders, maintaining current and accurate patient card files, and adhering to specific standards for diet compliance.

• Utilize CBORD and Care Connection to achieve meal selection, process diet orders, and changes, while communicating effectively with patients, family members, nursing staff, and kitchen personnel.

• Provide high-quality patient service by distributing patient trays and nourishments, verifying diet and meal accuracy, and retrieving soiled meal trays from patient areas.

Requirements:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry or customer service experience is preferred.

• Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and proficiently, with basic computer skills and math skills for conversions of oz, cc, and ml.

Working Conditions:

• Flexible work hours between 5:00 A.M. and 8:30 P.M., including weekends and holidays.

• Ability to walk for significant periods of time, with limited exposure to hazardous conditions, and safety and sanitation requirements when entering patient rooms or kitchen areas.

• Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, especially during peak hours, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance and/or 10 to 15 pounds frequently.
