Account Manager - IT Consultative Services

Lifescale Analytics is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our clients, managing a portfolio of assigned clients, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to establish data standards and ensure adherence to data policies.
  • Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects.
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels.
  • Proactively remain connected to clients and the ever-changing market to access new search opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis.
  • Communicate with clients by phone, through email and face-to-face to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.
  • Build strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure they fulfill all customer requests.
  • Resolve complaints and keep track of all processes that pertain to the clients' desires.
  • Act as the client's representative in a firm to ensure their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience.
  • Collect and analyze data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience with account management.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Data Analyst in the IT space.
  • Experience managing consultative services and local government entities.
  • Hands-on experience working with local government entities and managing those accounts.
  • Proven ability to contribute in a fast-paced environment consistently and positively.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with client leaders of all levels (C-level down to entry-level support roles).
  • Ability to work independently and manage personal and team member time, keeping deliverables and deadlines top of mind.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Strong writing, phone, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to sense moods and read body language so they know their audience and what to say at the right time.
  • Strong time manager and ability to improve processes and maximize opportunities for high efficiency.
  • Satisfactory problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs.
  • Up-to-date understanding of the industry's consumer behavior.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients.
  • Ability to input data in CRM (Deltek Vantagepoint) and keep it updated.
  • Advanced negotiation skills to close contracts.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
