Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. Our innovative cardiovascular program is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to join our team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to work with our team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists in our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower. This position requires strong collaboration with physicians, serving as a preceptor for new hires, and continuous professional development.

Job Summary

The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and experience in Cath Lab settings.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures
  • Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
  • Maintain a sterile environment
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
  • Participate in orientation of new staff
Qualifications
  • Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
  • Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred

The estimated salary for this position is $43,088 - $69,350 per year, based on previous work experience.
