Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Not-for-Profit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, consulting, and planning services for not-for-profit organizations, working closely with the Not-for-Profit Tax Director. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tax compliance, consulting, and planning services for not-for-profit organizations
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, providing guidance on tax-related matters
  • Stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations
  • Lead a team and ensure high-quality work
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to public charities, private foundations, and other tax-exempt entities
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of recent tax experience in public accounting
  • CPA a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Internal Revenue Code & Regulations
  • Proven progression in tax return complexity, scope, and research
  • Experience with 990, 990 PF, and 990-T tax compliance and review
  • Ability to manage multiple tax projects and clients
  • Strong commitment to excellence, client service, and professional growth
