Echocardiographer Specialist

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Echocardiographer Specialist to join our team. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

This is a full-time position that requires less than 1 year of experience. We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.

The Echocardiographer Specialist will be responsible for performing basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures using various equipment and techniques. This includes preparing patients for procedures, obtaining clinical history, and explaining the purpose of the echocardiographic examination to patients.

• Performing echocardiogram studies to aid physicians in complex procedures
• Recording statistics and maintaining daily operations of the Echocardiography Lab
• Assisting with ICAEL accreditation activities and implementing protocols as new technology evolves

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A graduate degree from an accredited program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification
