Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Brain Injury Rehabilitation to join our dedicated Inpatient Rehab team in Spokane, Washington.

Job Responsibilities:

* Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care to patients with brain injuries in an inpatient rehab setting.

* Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and provide regular assessments to ensure optimal recovery.

* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.

* Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation goals, treatment strategies, and ongoing care needs.

* Utilize critical thinking to assess changes in patient conditions and intervene appropriately.

* Document patient care and treatment plans accurately, ensuring all actions comply with legal and ethical standards.

* Participate in patient safety initiatives and contribute to the overall rehabilitation process.

* Foster a positive environment that encourages patient motivation and engagement in their recovery process.

Candidate Requirements:

* Current and valid RN license in Washington.

* Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; BSN is preferred.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient rehab, neuro, or brain injury care unit.

* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

* Experience in working with brain injury patients is a plus.
