Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Wellspring Nurse Source in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

About the Role

This is a travel position that requires a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who can operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. The successful candidate will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to review MRI images and assist in the interpretation of findings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI scans using specialized equipment to capture detailed images of the body's internal structures.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety during the procedure.
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, adjusting settings as necessary to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including imaging data and scan results, for physician review.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, MRI Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification: Certified MRI Technologist (CMR) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Experience: Prior experience as an MRI Technologist.
Compensation Package:

The estimated salary for this position is $ 104,000 per year, based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, plus tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
