Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, technicians, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis equipment as needed.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Experience in nephrology or dialysis nursing is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
