We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Parkway Chevrolet. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dealership, ensuring a positive experience for our customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain all areas of the dealership, including the waiting area, bathrooms, break room, and guest refreshment area.
- Ensure the waiting area is tidy and well-maintained, including vacuuming, straightening magazines, and disposing of litter.
- Sweep and mop bathroom floors daily, and perform hourly checks to maintain cleanliness.
- Wipe down and disinfect toilets, counters, and sinks with industrial strength cleaner, and remove trash as needed.
- Maintain the break room and eating area, including sweeping floors, mopping as needed, and disinfecting tables and counters.
- Empty trashcans after lunch and at the end of the shift.
- Prepare the guest refreshment area, including making coffee and tea, and disposing of trash throughout the day.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of housekeeping experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Valid Driver's License.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized dealership. The employee will be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions.
