Job OverviewAt Show & Tell AV Solutions, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Installation Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation of low-voltage electrical systems, including audio-visual, networking, and security systems in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and terminate low-voltage cabling, including Cat 5e, Cat 6, RG6, and RG11
  • Install and test speaker and security system wiring
  • Install low-voltage electrical components, including automation systems and networks
  • Build equipment racks and wire according to elevation plans
  • Program automation systems and networks
  • Make programming changes to automation control systems
  • Complete installations of home electronics according to project plans and proposals
  • Ensure all installations meet industry standards and building codes

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
  • Pass drug screen and background check
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods
  • Self-motivated, positive approach, and professional demeanor
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work at heights, off a ladder, and in confined spaces
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally or work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications
  • CEDIA certifications in Safety and Technician Pathways with practical experience
  • Strong knowledge of Crestron, Savant, Control4, Lutron, and home networking
  • Experience in the AV residential field, including audio/video, networks, security, shades, lighting, and CCTV
