Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at SAIC. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems and architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and design network components and systems to meet customer requirements
  • Implement and test network solutions to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure SAIC remains competitive
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 9+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on LAN/WAN and enterprise networks
  • Expert-level knowledge of Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, and DOD Network Standards (STIGs)
  • Experience working in secure environments, with familiarity of NIPRNET and SIPRNET operating standards
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI
Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Certifications: Network+, Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with SAIC's environment, including data and voice networks, IT security systems, policies, and procedures
What We Offer

SAIC offers a competitive salary range of $120,001 - $160,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
