Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our Industry 4.0 - Connected Factory & Intelligence (CFI&A) team. As an ASE, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and sustaining automation solutions and advanced Smart Factory / Industry 4.0 technologies in support of manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

As an Automation Systems Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with factory stakeholders to identify, develop, and deploy manufacturing automation systems and digital solutions
  • Continuous improvement, upgrades, and sustainment of deployed automation systems
  • Full project lifecycle control – from requirements generation through execution & sustainment
  • Program front end visualizations in Ignition to enable data-driven decisions
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or relevant field
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations/engineering, systems engineering, controls engineering, software development, and/or automation engineering
  • Rockwell PLC experience, Fanuc Robotics experience, and expertise in automation mechanisms, controls, robotics, and/or vision systems
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this role is $96,000 USD - $200,000 USD per year, depending on experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position.
