As a vital member of our team, the Custodian-Building Maintenance role involves performing essential cleaning and maintenance tasks across all CM Resort facilities. This includes ensuring cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and recreational spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough cleaning and janitorial services in shared spaces.
- Execute minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as replacing light fixtures and addressing plumbing issues.
- Assist in sanitizing restrooms and dining areas.
- Perform basic groundskeeping duties, including lawn care and snow removal.
- Ensure that heating and cooling systems are functioning properly.
- Maintain an organized custodial supply area, ensuring all cleaning materials are adequately stocked.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Adhere to safety standards for chemical usage and equipment operation, ensuring the well-being of staff and guests.
- Deliver exceptional service to all guests, following established customer service protocols.
- Respond courteously and efficiently to inquiries from guests and team members.
- Drive necessary vehicles for cleaning operations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and assist other departments as needed.
- Maintain flexibility in work hours, with potential for job sharing.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical RequirementsThe physical demands of this position require regular standing, walking, climbing, and communication. Candidates should be able to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds as necessary.
