Academic Hospitalist/Internist Opportunity

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a talented academic hospitalist/internist to join our team. As a member of our Department of Medicine, you will have the opportunity to teach and practice Internal Medicine on our inpatient faculty teaching service and in our primary care clinics.
Our Division of General Internal Medicine is a vibrant and collaborative group of faculty hospitalists and general internists who are dedicated to teaching internal medicine residents and students. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about medical education, collaborative, and team-oriented, and interested in cultivating specific areas of expertise that bring them opportunities for professional advancement and satisfaction over the long term.
Responsibilities- Teach internal medicine residents and students on our inpatient faculty teaching service and in our primary care clinics
- Participate in medical education oversight activities, hospital quality improvement initiatives, research collaborations, and/or other academic endeavors
- Mentor and educate housestaff in the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program
- Contribute to academic administration and physician leadership, curriculum development and implementation, medical informatics, hospital and clinic quality improvement initiatives, and other areas
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
- Passionate about medical education and collaborative
- Interested in cultivating specific areas of expertise for professional advancement and satisfaction
