Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our surgical team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Must hold a current CST certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
    • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Job Requirements
    • 1+ year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
    • Proficiency in both orthopedic and neuro spine cases
  • Schedule and Shifts
    • 4x10-day shifts per week
    • Weekend shifts and possible holiday shifts required
    • Blackout dates for Requested Time Off (RTO): December 26-31
  • Additional Requirements
    • Locals accepted if residing over 50 miles from the facility
    • Pending license accepted: no
    • RTO restrictions: all RTO must be included at time of submission; approval based on facility needs
    • Guaranteed hours: facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Associate's degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology
    • CST certification from NBSTSA
  • Skills and Experience
    • 1+ year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
    • Proficiency in both orthopedic and neuro spine cases
