Job Summary

As a Product Strategist at American Savings Bank, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the bank's products strategy, product design, and tactical execution to achieve corporate strategic objectives. This role requires identifying opportunities for new products to drive growth and managing a competitive portfolio of products to achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the bank's products strategy, product design, and tactical execution to achieve corporate strategic objectives.
• Identify opportunities for new products to drive growth and manage a competitive portfolio of products to achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets.
• Develop strategy and work cross-function to execute on product changes, marketing campaigns, promotions, tools, events, etc. in line with overall direction and help achieve goals.
• Monitor portfolio trends, competition, and environmental trends for opportunities, risks, and regulation changes. Suggest enhancements to the product portfolio and product packages, including features and pricing to strengthen the bank's competitive position and achieve its business targets.
• Manage initiatives and projects as the business owner which may be related to product, process, or platform changes. As the business owner, lead the project team, gather business requirements, testing, and create a go-to market plan including training and internal/external communications.

Requirements

• Four (4) years of product or account management experience.
• Four (4) years of experience in banking or financial institution is a plus.
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, with a high degree of project management skills.
• Effective communication, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to think on their feet.
• Able to remain flexible in a fast-paced work environment and adapt to competing priorities.
• Knowledge of and professional experience with bank products is a plus.
• Quantitative skills and passion for data-based decisions.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications is required.
