Job Opportunity

Belay Technologies, a leading provider of technology and engineering solutions, is seeking a skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based software applications using high-level languages such as Java, C, and C++
  • Develop and deploy distributed scalable Big Data Store solutions using technologies such as HBase, CloudBase, and Accumulo
  • Implement Map Reduce programming model and Distributed File System (HDFS) using Hadoop, Hive, and Pig
  • Develop RESTful services and Ruby on Rails framework
  • Design and develop automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms
  • Experience with linguistics, grammar, morphology, and concepts
  • Develop and deploy analytics that discover and exploit social networks
  • Document ontologies, data models, schema, formats, and data elements
Requirements
  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Five years of general experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
  • At least three years of experience developing software with high-level languages, such as Java, C, and C++
  • At least two years of experience with distributed scalable Big Data Store solutions, including HBase, CloudBase, and Accumulo
  • At least two years of experience with Map Reduce programming model and Distributed File System (HDFS) using Hadoop, Hive, and Pig
  • At least three years of experience developing software in UNIZ/Limix (Red Hat versions 3-5+) operating systems
  • At least three years of experience designing and developing at least one Object-Oriented system
  • At least three years of experience developing solutions integrating and extending FOSS/COTS products
