Surgical Technician

Cary Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technician to join their Operating Room team. As a key member of the surgical team, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and registered nurses to deliver exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the surgical team in preparing rooms, instruments, and equipment for each procedure.
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment and instruments before each procedure.
- Maintain a sterile and organized instrument table for efficient workflow.
- Prepare for procedures at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled time, unless otherwise directed.
- Meet the unit's annual competency training requirements.
- Obtain BLS certification within 1 year of accepting position and maintain certification thereafter.
As a Surgical Technician at Cary Medical Center, you may be required to work on days, evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays, and may need to float to other units to meet the needs of patients and staff.
