About the Role

The Operations Support Associate will play a crucial role in assisting Carrier Sales Representatives with their day-to-day operations, focusing on high-risk commodities. This on-site position requires a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 7 am to 4 pm, with an hourly rate of $19.24.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and track booked loads for carrier representatives, ensuring timely updates on critical shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with carrier partners to resolve late deliveries and issues.
  • Issue EFS checks and other customer service-related items as needed.
  • Post loads to web services and internal platforms when necessary.
  • Negotiate rates and book loads when required.
  • Collaborate with carrier partners to track down PODs, invoices, and supporting documents.
  • Update files in Highway as needed.
Requirements
  • A college degree is preferred but not required.
  • Logistics experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Exposure to the carrier sales process is essential.
  • Strong phone and written communication skills are required.
  • The ideal candidate will be organized, assertive, and able to identify and react to potential issues with confidence and composure.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • At least 6 months of experience in customer support or operations is required.
