Responsibilities
  • Roofing Installation and Repair: Install and repair various types of commercial roofing systems, including single-ply, built-up, modified bitumen, and metal roofs.
  • Safety and Quality Assurance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment. Follow industry best practices and company standards to deliver high-quality roofing installations and repairs.
  • Equipment and Material Handling: Safely operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery used in roofing installations and repairs. Ensure proper care and storage of tools and equipment to maintain their functionality and longevity.
  • Documentation and Communication: Complete required paperwork, including work orders, time sheets, and inspection reports accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding project progress, issues, and any necessary updates.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial roofing installation and repair.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of different commercial roofing systems and materials. Knowledge of roofing tools, equipment, and safety practices.
  • Physical Demands: Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions. Ability to climb a 40-foot ladder and lift heavy objects.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification or willingness to complete certification.
