Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Newport, Oregon. As a Travel SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with a school district in Oregon and make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)/Response to Instruction (RTI) Model:
    • Educate teachers on speech and language development
    • Assist teachers in designing instruction strategies
    • Provide support services
    • Refer students to the multidisciplinary team (MDT) if needed
  • Complete Evaluations/Reevaluations:
    • As per federal and state laws
  • Assist the MDT in Determining Student Eligibility for Speech Services:
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
  • Provide Therapy Services to Support Students Academically:
    • Employ evidence-based practices
    • Consider language and cultural differences
    • Address technology needs
    • Integrate curriculum with therapy
    • Serve students in the least restrictive environment (LRE)
    • Consult with teachers and special education staff
    • Assist parents/guardians
    • Coordinate services for student transitions
  • Conduct Meetings and Prepare Reports:
    • For student referrals/dismissals
  • Document Services:
    • Through notes and testing data

Requirements:

  • SLP license from Oregon Department of Speech-Language Pathology
  • SLP certificate from Oregon Department of Education
