About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiographic Technologist to join our Imaging Team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner, adhering to established operating procedures.
  • Perform and process M-Mode, Two-dimensional, Color Flow, and Doppler Echocardiograms, as well as assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms.
  • Maintain, compile, calculate, and prepare findings for physician interpretation and archiving.
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare team members regarding findings, patient histories, and test results.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Adult Echocardiography preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Natural Science, Nursing, or a related field, or proof of equivalent college hours.
  • Current Ultrasound registry required.
  • Registry required within one year of hire date with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) or The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS).
  • Current Certification in Basic Life Support from a provider approved by the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
