About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Traveling Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Traveling Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental teams in multiple locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Quality Care: Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring a positive experience for every individual.
  • Guide Patients: Assist patients and their families in understanding our processes and procedures.
  • Education and Support: Educate patients on oral hygiene instruction and provide post-operative instructions.
  • Operational Readiness: Ensure the hygiene bay and operatory rooms are prepared and ready for treatment.
  • Assist Dental Staff: Support our dental teams with treatment, including suctioning, holding retractors, and suture cutting.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in patient charts.
Requirements:
  • Dental Assistant Certification: Active and valid DANB certification.
  • Radiology Certification: Valid certification with aligned state and individual practice requirements.
  • Dental Infection Prevention and Control Certification: Valid certification.
  • Dental Assistant License: Valid license with aligned state and individual practice requirements.
  • BLS and/or CPR Certification: Valid certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Language: Bi-lingual in Spanish (dependent on location).
