Position Overview:

System One Holdings, LLC is in search of a skilled Reliability Engineer II for a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in refinery operations, specifically focusing on fixed equipment to enhance the reliability and turnaround initiatives within the organization.

Work Schedule:

This position is an on-site role that operates on a 9/80 work schedule.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
  • Proficient understanding of refinery operations.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and technical judgment skills.
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The candidate should be capable of interpreting Isometric and Piping Identification drawings along with general industrial symbols. Familiarity with refinery engineering standards is essential for creating piping packages that undergo engineering review and approval. Intermediate mathematical skills and computer proficiency are also necessary. The role requires availability for on-call duties 24/7 as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Reliability group, turnaround team, and other refinery departments to develop Turnaround packages that align with the company's Engineering Practices and Standards.
  • Assess Turnaround work scope to ensure adherence to sound engineering practices and procedures.
  • Address any work-related issues or concerns that may arise during the planning and execution of Turnarounds in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of Turnaround critical paths, activity logic, budget estimations, and anticipated outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with Turnaround processes and procedures, fostering continuous improvement while coordinating with all necessary divisions to guarantee resource availability for effective execution.
