Job Title: Site Superintendent

Job Summary:

The University of Georgia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our Facilities Management Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the operations during construction/renovation of a building or facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate new construction, repairs, renovations, remodels, or installations
  • Ensure each facility meets safety standards
  • Monitor budgets for contracts, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform inspections, document site conditions, project progress, and observations
  • Attend owner-architect-contractor/construction manager (OAC) meetings and all pre-construction meetings

Requirements:

  • Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field
  • 10+ years of project delivery/construction experience in facilities

Working Conditions:

The Site Superintendent will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel to construction sites. The position requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
