Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning and execution of complex financial audits to ensure compliance with established policies and regulations.
- Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management and internal control processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to make recommendations for financial planning and control.
- Conduct in-depth research of historical financial data; analyze and report on financial trends and forecasts.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of junior auditors or accountants during audits.
- Provide guidance on financial risks and potential impacts on the organization's financial performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and legislations that may affect the organization's operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, internal auditing, risk management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Strong understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in accounting software and databases.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
