Job Summary

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
  • Exemplary Practice and Outcomes:
    • Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized care using evidence-based practice.
    • Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care adapting to population-specific characteristics and cultural diversity.
    • Partner with patients and significant others to focus on their goals.
    • Utilize current clinical practice standards.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration:
    • Coordinate the delivery and documentation of patient care, promoting professional care delivery.
    • Demonstrate teamwork by practicing in a fiscally responsible manner and supporting healthcare team recruitment and retention.
    • Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities.
  • Professional Development and Initiative:
    • Complete competency assessments, mandatory education, and population-specific education.
    • Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified workforce and a healthy work environment.
  • Evidence-Based Practice and Research:
    • Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement.
    • Participate in decision-making for evaluating patient care products.
    • Uphold healthcare policies, procedures, and standards.
Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $83,415, based on national averages and industry standards. Compensation may vary depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
