Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in the clinic setting and/or acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urology and be able to work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in the clinic setting and/or acute care setting according to the scope of practice outlined by the Board of Nursing, approved protocols, national standards of practice, and as directed by the physician preceptor.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient status and patient care activities, including treatments, procedures, and medications prescribed.
- Participate in continuing education activities to stay abreast of changes in medical management and maintain clinical competence.
- Provide patients and families with education related to the disease process, health, and wellness, and serve as a resource for community agencies as appropriate.
- Masters Degree in nursing with appropriate licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years RN clinical experience in a setting appropriate to practice.
- Maintains and enhances knowledge and skills in current technology and practice to provide care to the appropriate population.
- Maintains current AHA CPR certification.
