Job Overview

Raycap, Inc., a prominent provider of metal manufacturing solutions for various sectors, is seeking a dedicated Production Laborer.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, ensuring all debris and scrap materials are disposed of properly.
  • Assist with essential production tasks, including:
  • Grinding and deburring components.
  • Punching out parts from sheet metal.
  • Organizing and placing punched parts onto pallets.
  • Transporting materials using pallet jacks and forklifts to designated workstations.
  • Operating the PEM inserter machine.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to environmental and safety regulations while upholding high-quality standards in all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing and bending without difficulty.
  • Willingness to work in a non-climate controlled production setting.

Work Schedule: This position may require occasional overtime, with hours subject to change based on business needs.

Union Information: This role is affiliated with IBEW Local Union 3, which includes a probationary period.
