Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Float Nurse. This is a unique opportunity to work on various in-patient units and at the Clinical Evaluation Center, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to patients on our in-patient units and at the Clinical Evaluation Center. As a Float Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of units, gaining valuable experience and skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in leading patient groups and providing education to patients and their families.
  • Supervise and direct Mental Health Workers as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize the nursing process and work collaboratively.
  • No experience required; one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
