Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our Medical Surgical Telemetry Orthopedics team at Sutter Health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communication.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in California.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience in a medical surgical telemetry orthopedics setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theories, concepts, and practices.
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precautions, and best practices regarding patient care and privacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment:

This position may involve exposure to hazardous drugs, as identified by NIOSH.

The salary range for this role is $77.30 to $104.61 per hour.
