About the Role

Cinterra is seeking a skilled Senior Project Controls Manager to spearhead the implementation and refinement of cost engineering and project controls methodologies for utility-scale solar projects.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of cost engineering methodologies, including economic analysis, resource management, and risk mitigation techniques. The successful candidate will also have experience managing the full lifecycle of utility-scale solar projects, including EPC contract oversight.

Key responsibilities include leading efforts in cost management, scheduling, risk assessment, and reporting to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop robust project cost structures, including detailed classifications (e.g., direct/indirect costs, fixed/variable costs).
  • Incorporate work breakdown structure (WBS) frameworks into schedule development to ensure clarity in deliverables and execution strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in project controls, with at least 5 years in a senior or managerial role.
  • Advanced proficiency in project controls tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
