We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Heart and Vascular Care, Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for explaining test procedures and safety precautions to patients, calculating and measuring radiation dosage, and administering radiopharmaceuticals or radiation to patients.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must be a dependable team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must also be certified in ARRT(N) or CNMT and hold an active BLS.
Work Environment:
This position will float between the Woodstock and Cartersville locations, with typical hours being 8AM - 5PM, Monday-Friday. No nights, call, weekends, or major holidays.
Opportunities for Growth:
In addition to your usual nuclear medicine responsibilities, this position will also provide the opportunity to perform cardiac PET stress tests on a bi-weekly basis. Previous experience in cardiac PET is not required, as we are willing to train.
Duties:
Some of your duties may include explaining test procedures, calculating radiation dosage, administering radiopharmaceuticals, interpreting EKG results, maintaining patient safety standards, disposing of radioactive materials, and maintaining and calibrating radioisotope and laboratory equipment.
