Senior Project Assurance Engineer

Vinci is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Assurance Engineer to join our Offshore Renewables team. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of large-scale offshore wind projects globally.

You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through to commercial operation, ensuring technical excellence, adherence to industry standards, and optimal return on investment. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong technical expertise, and exceptional leadership to guide the project through its various phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement design assurance processes to ensure technical excellence and adherence to industry standards.
  • Ensure project validation tools are utilized in the overall design and development.
  • Implement global design management procedures across all packages on the project.
  • Prioritize and enforce safety protocols in the design phase, managing the Design Risk Register.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising project integrity, performance, or safety.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a higher-level degree (e.g., MSc) desirable.
  • Chartered, PE, or working towards Chartered/PE status (or relevant equivalent) desirable.
  • Extensive experience designing and working in the offshore industry, preferably offshore wind.
  • Significant experience working in teams involved in large multidisciplinary work packages in international environments.
  • Experience in dealing with health and safety and environmental legislation associated with construction, marine, and offshore projects.
