Job SummaryAs a Fence Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for driving a truck filled with fencing materials to designated work sites, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. You will also install fences into the ground using specialized equipment, working closely with customers to meet their specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily inspections of tools and equipment to ensure safety and proper working condition.
- Verify that the truck is loaded with all necessary materials and tools for each service ticket.
- Perform daily pre-shift vehicle inspections and report any deficiencies to the shop.
- Operate the fence vehicle to and from designated work sites.
- Unload fencing materials and install fences according to pre-determined specifications.
- Coordinate workload and efforts with the Fence Helper, ensuring that specifications are met.
- Meet with site superintendents to confirm work orders and receive additional instructions.
- Record personnel, production, and operational data on specified forms and submit to the Fence Manager at the end of each shift.
- Train Fence Helpers on proper installation procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs and push/pull 100lbs horizontally.
