Job Summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. As a COTA, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Share on-call responsibilities and respond to patient needs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including patient rooms and supply stock.
  • Transport patients as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a hospital setting.
  • Valid OTA license and BLS certification.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills.
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend.
