Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic PM Server to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Monitor club seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests, and take proactive steps to address any issues.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, and strive to build a loyal customer base.
  • Stay up-to-date with new beverage trends, local offerings, and guests' evolving needs, and communicate this information to the team.
  • Answer questions about menu selection, and communicate with the kitchen on orders and product availability.
  • Record transactions in the Micros system at the time of order, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools, and ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
  • Prepare and serve beverages at guests' request, and stock ice, glassware, and supplies as needed.
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly, and wash dishes and serving utensils as needed.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, and requisition all necessary supplies, transporting them from the storeroom to the bar set-up area as required.
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas, and document pertinent information in the department logbook.
  • Complete designated cashier reports and resolve discrepancies, and follow property control audit standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required, but a passion for hospitality and customer service is essential.
  • No supervisory experience required, but a willingness to learn and take on new challenges is necessary.
  • No license or certification required, but a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring guest satisfaction is essential.
