We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute in Boise, Idaho. As a key member of our oncology team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our cancer program.
Responsibilities- Provide primary support in our Boise Cancer Institute, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Assess, consult, and manage follow-up patients, triage resolution, and laboratory follow-up, ensuring compliance with standards of care and practice.
- Participate in new patient consultations and support the provision of integrative medicine services.
- Collaborate with the Cancer Institute team to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Oregon and Idaho.
- Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho and Board of Pharmacy and DEA registration.
- Successful completion of NP Graduate Program (Masters Level preferred) and either AANP or ANCC certification for Nurse Practitioners, or successful completion of PA Graduate Program (Masters Level preferred) and NCCPA certification (PA-C) for Physician Assistants.
- Strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.
